Jordan II: Standard Operating Procedures for Shelters for Victims of Trafficking



Enhance staff operations and services for two victims of human trafficking centres in Amman under the management of the Ministry of Social Development through the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Activity 1: Baseline assessment, visits to the centres and introductory info-session

Activity 2: First joint drafting session on SOPs with working group

Activity 3: Study visit

Activity 4: Second joint drafting session to elaborate the final version of the SOP handbook and remote support

Activity 5: Presentation to select staff of the SOPs handbook 

Activity 6: Info-exchange on the delivery of effective care management for victims of trafficking


Results and outputs


  • Improved capacities and internal skills of up to 40 staff on the development of SOPs as well as in the delivery of effective care services for victims
  • EU good practices shared, discussed and adopted into the day-to-day work of shelter staff


  • A complete set of SOPs for shelter staff
