MIEUX team
Laura Zorrilla Fernandez
Laura joined the team in September 2017 and since then has been in charge of two transversal processes: Knowledge Management and Communications.
She oversees the quality and production of all MIEUX knowledge products, coordinates the content for the website and social media channels and collaborates with other MIEUX processes to improve procedures. A Spanish national, she was brought up between Spain, Italy and Canada and studied Sociology in Madrid, Spain where she became interested in migration and pursued this field further through an MA in Communities and Social Change from City University London, United Kingdom. Although she started her career as a researcher, she quickly realised that the fast-paced nature of communications suited her more and applied this interest to working in different areas, including market research, advocacy and citizen engagement.
