MIEUX team
Alfred Woeger
Alfred joined ICMPD in 2007 and the MIEUX team in 2012. He has taken up different positions in various locations and is currently acting as Senior Project Manager of the MIEUX+ initiative.
An Austrian national, he studied International Development at the University of Vienna and the National Autonomous University of Mexico City. He got involved in migration when supporting refugees with practical guidance and the establishment of their local network shortly after their arrival in Austria.
Another one of his passions is promoting democracy, human rights and rule of law through election observation. He has been involved in several Election Observation Missions in Latin America.
